Art on the Screens -The Fauna of Mirrors

  • 300 City Centre Dr, Mississauga, ON L5B (map)

The Fauna of Mirrors is based on a short story by the Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges which itself references an ancient Chinese myth of the same name. Using footage from YouTube and the recorded voices of mandarin, arabic, hindi, and spanish speakers, it presents an allegory about production and consumption in an uneven, globalized world.
